no way there is no more power or suspension changes so I see no point in changing its' the same car you will gain almost nothing you are better off saving for your next car and wait two more years I get a new ride every three to four maybe then the evo x1 will be out and be a lot better with ride noise and interior we will see

For a couple of bolt ons and tune you can get near the fq400 performance or more for a cheaper price, the only issue would be the warranty but you could take off your bolt before visiting a stealership.

Yeah what he said, i also dont' see a point of waiting for a 2010 if you can get a 08 especially with all the deals mitsu is giving out. I was on the same boat once i saw the changes for the 2010 I bought a brand new 08 gsr RR SSS/aero/navi fully loaded for 31600.

MMNA brought a 2010 Evo X MR to the SoCalEvo meet. Aesthetics and stuff was about it.

The only thing worth a damn is the multi function display.

Yep, that's what I've heard also. The color display is cool and may include some more info but no significant change. Not worth an upgrade if you already have an 08. And probably not worth it even if you're considering a purchase now. As previous posts state, the deals on 08 are really good and worth saving the extra cash for upgrades.

If you can find the new 08 you want, you can get it off the lot without it depreciating like a new car usually does. It's depreciated already (unless you're a sucker and overpay).

Autosensing wipers? Sounds more Volvo and Evo! I'll take the $8k MSRP discount on an 08

The big thing is if one is actually able to still be able to get the 0% on the 2010 or at least a low rate like 2.5% for 60 months. Somehow I think that something will be offered for a certain period of time to include 2010 models. Agreed, the discount won't be as good. But I would imagine you'll still be able to negotiate $3-$4k off. Especially if there is some support cash, which I wouldn't count out.

The 08 is basically a two MY old car at this point. So yes you may have chewed down a portion of the depreciation, just remember in two years it will be a 4 year old car if you think of it in those terms.

Just food for thought.

I don't see enough changes to make the upgrade worthwhile. You've paid a bunch into the 08 already and having to pay sales tax on $30k alone is nothing to sneeze at. I would wait for a power bump on the X before switching.
