Will the 2010 Evo X have the same fate as the 2008 ?
Back on topic..... IF there were to be a major facelift/upgrade to the Evo, '11 would be the year, correct? Will/CAN Mitsu hold on to its stake in the US long enough for us to see that change? Also, since I don't foresee a huge spike in sales for the '10 models, how will this affect the aftermarket R&D for the Evo? Its already been "out" for over a year and a half (rounding up), and the aftermarket offerings are less than par from what I was expecting.....
So, if you really want an Evo before it goes away in the US, I suggest you buy one now if you can afford it. Supply is getting thinner everyday.
Meh, IMO the Evo is soon to be doomed anyways with the new CAFE standards for 2012-2016. I highly doubt they'll bother bringing the Evo 11 here. Hard to justify a thirsty Evo in your lineup when you need your cars to average almost 40mpg. Its poor sales is just a nail in the coffin. Although admittedly I was surprised they even decided to make a 2010 Evo, so who knows.
If we DO have a XI released in '11, will it live up to its ancestry, or continue down the path of BMW'ism.... Great performance, crappy interior, and a price too high for its original target consumer.
