Smell gas? *Noob question*

Why do I always smell unburnt gas after starting my car? I get a strong whip from a cold start and a weak one when the engine is already warm.

If this is normal, then is it safe to assume the smell is strong for a turbo charged car with 91 octane rating gas than a naturally aspirated beater car with 87?

Wait until you change your oil for the first time

The issue is that the tune is so overly rich that the engine doesn't burn all the fuel. Which leads to fuel dilution of the oil. It's normal because the tune is so rich.

I just changed my oil yesterday @ 951 miles. I guess a tune would fix this and lean it out. Thanks for the info!

I was smelling the same before the factory reflash. I havent smell it since and I'm also parked on an enclosed garage.

let me try to observe it again tomorrow morning. But I doubt that I cant notice every morning if it's really smelling.

edit:
reflash and first oil changed done on the same day [July 3rd]

I'll try and smell it later when I get home. She's a garage queen!
