cheapest place to get it? I did a search looks like mitsubishiparts.net @ 262+ shipping...

Southcoast Mitsubishi. I want the MR shift knob and they appear to have all accessories the cheapest.

yeah man the package is like 499 for the aluminum evo x parking brake grip and shift knob. luckily mine both came with mine check the marketplace though

My aluminum brake grip came loose so i had to get it warrantied. I thought it was just a missing screw but dealership couldnt fix it. They ordered a brand new cover. I believe it was $369.

Yeah, they're surprisingly expensive... it's just a brake handle right? Anyway, probably a wash once shipping charges are added in, but Japanparts has an all aluminum piece that's ~$212. Buy a few other things to make shipping charges worth your while and you're set.
