Evo X as a tow car

Just wondering has anyone tried to use Evo X as a tow car to tow a flat bed trailer with another car?

Please let me know.

No, but it should be a great towing machine with all that torque. Get a tune first lol

Probably a really bad idea. Considering another car plus trailer would easily overcome the gross weight limit of the vehicle. Besides, can't be all that good for the drivetrain either. Get a proper tow vehicle.

Sounds like a legit idea. I would worry a bit about the clutch though.

The X makes an excellent tow rig op. I recently pulled out this guys f250 dozer from the beach here.

Very Very Bad idea, you are not suppose to use and AWD car for towing, read your drivers manual it tells you there (at least for 8 and 9 it does)

This is definitely not a good idea. If you're trying to tow a jet ski or something extremely light, that's one thing. A trailer with another car is a whole different story. Definitely not something an Evo should be doing.

Don't listen to these guys. Put that hitch on your car and use it for it's intended purpose: towing thousands of pounds.

It shouldn't hurt it it's rolling weight your pulling. but I would worry about the clutch, and the fact that your pulling more than what your car weighs, could be an issue! Just be careful stay in the right land and brake early, and smoothly! I would avoid large hills/mountains if possible, but man that turbo is going to be working full time sounds cool!!
