Hi,

I just want to know if anyone else have this problem, one of my friend have problem on his EVO X he begin to notice the power steering fluid start to decrease, no leaks or enything like that, after 3 months the boots explode , he need to check the almost every day, the car have around 2000 miles,

So he lift the car and remove enything and he found the steering pinion (i dont if is the correct name, since my native lenguage is spanish) with rust and the seal fail please take a look on the picture, any feedback would be great.

any reason for this premature failure?

ps: the car was purchased brand new in US and send it to Panama.
