Wing Fluid!!

**disclaimer**
this is not a thread on whether or not you like the wingless look.

So last night I removed the stock wing from my X. I set the wing down across a chair in the garage and returned to the car to start waxing the trunk and temp filling the holes...

When I came back into the garage I was stunned to find.......WING FLUID!! I should collect it and sell it to the ricers....

This thing had some serious water inside (was tilted to the right on the chair about 10*). My X has ~2k miles on it...

If it was from a VIII or IX wing i would say you should drink it, then perhaps you too will become impervious to all crashes.

Yes, sell it as "root juice" for Honda Civics and base model Econoboxes!

I take it through a car wash frequently....plenty of water pressure there...

the last that I expected to happen when I picked the wing up off the chair was to get my shoes wet....LOL

I don't get it. Are their wings known for miraculously living through crashes?

Yes. For some reason, even in major crashes the wing tends to survive. Been well documented and has become part of the Evo lore.

Do watch the wing area. CT9As started to see spot rusting in those areas.

No, with the wing left ON there was rust bubble when people took them off.

Which wing is that? I can't tell but looks like the base wing. This seems like a problem we should trying to be preventing because of future issues.
