FQ Models Power @ wheels?

Hi guys out of curiosity, has anyone dynoed the FQ models or have any results of what power these things put out at all 4 wheels, even theoretical results.

Just curious to know how some cars compare, seeings everyone quotes in awhp and the FQ's are quoted at the fly..

Estimates? FQ400 = 320AWHP?

Cheers

It's like a 20% loss maybe? BUT if the car has more power that your average Evo, does that change the percentage? I don't know. I would imagine you are getting a minimum of 45hp loss.

You start out with a 60hp loss on the Evo X. They come with about 230-240whp (depending on the dyno). If you did a linear scale you (which it isn't), then you'd be looking at 340whp. I'm speculating around 320-330whp. But that's just speculation.

Say a USDM X has a rated 291HP on the crank, and the FQ400 has what, 407HP?
Let's say the USDM X dynos at 230whp...

A simple equation would be:
X/407 = 230/291
X = 230/291 * 407
=============
X = 321.7whp for the FQ400

So in theory, an FQ400 would just be around 92whp over a stock USDM X if they are both on the same dyno.

FQ400 has 403 bhp/387lbft, but US/UK measurements cannot be taken like for like, our units of measurement are slighlty different.......................

British horsepower

The acronym bhp may also be used for British horsepower, which has the same definition as the American SAE gross brake horsepower: 33,000 lb·ft/minute. More information on American SAE horsepower measurements is below.
