Hey guys... just wondering if anyone has any pictures of the front and rear crash beams from the X? I am looking to maybe have some custom ones build from either carbon fiber or Kevlar... or would it even be worth it? I know they are pretty heavy, and I haven't gotten a price yet so i'm not sure if the cost would be worth the hassle. Input?

 

the front one is not heavy at all. Not worth to make an other one to replace it. The rear one is heavy . Like 40 lb or something. Ridiculous.

If you are lowered then i wouldn't worry about that replacement either, just take it off.

other wise it is worthy modification if you can shave off around 30 lb from the very end of the car.

I have no pics from the rear but here is the front , i hope it is visible enough.
