Front bumper fitment issue [merge]

there's a gap between my light and bumper on the front driver side..

the passenger side doesn't have that gap.. it looks like a perfect fit.. but the driver side is obviously much bigger..

is this normal? common?

is the gap caused by the light or the bumper... the bumper fits perfect everywhere except under the light on the driver side..

Mine has that same gap on only the driver's side. I assumed it was because I took my front bumper off and put it back on 3 or 4 times.

It ain't no Lexus. lol. Yeah, it's normal. I never paid much attention to it till I took the bumper off to install an intercooler. Once I reinstalled the bumper I noticed the wide gap between the bumper and the headlight. For peace of mind I checked Goofygrin's bumper on his X. Same as mine and he never took off the bumper. It's completely normal.

mine has no gap issues... My buddies bumper is EXACTLY how you described it. On the drivers side, theres a distinct gap. This weekend, we inspected everything, and found that the problem is inherent to the fender as well. Its mis-aligned from the factory. The bumper clips in correctly and mates up to the fender... But the fender itself is misaligned just a tad causing the entire right section/area to push forward...

Only solution is to realign the fender having the bumper move back along with it, or notching the bumper hole to allow it to slide back a tad further....

Mine are equal and not bad but when putting my bumper on after some work I noticed it was pretty significant on the driver's side. I loosened everything and then paid special attention when tightening everything and it worked out well.

As shyong said - it ain't no Lexus. Someone should make a parody commercial where the marble is wavering, stopping, and even falling into body gaps!

Anybody has a pic of the said gap? I can't imagine how big of a gap it would be.

DRIVER SIDE

I HAVE TAKEN OFF MY BUMPER A FEW TIMES SO FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN READING THAT MAY BE THE ISSUE. OLDER PIX OF MY CAR DONT SHOW ANY GAPS.
