Service engine soon

I was driving normal, not beating on the car and all of a sudden the car went into "safe mode" and shut off on the highway and the Service Engine Soon light came on and when I pulled over I shut the car off and then restarted it and the light stayed on and the RPMS where real jumpy and kept going up and down form about 800RPM-2000RPM on its own...ANY IDEAS? car just came back from dealer they replaced clutch, fly wheel, tranny!

yep only way to really know. do you have a cat still? sounds like either an O2 problem, or a vac/boost leak

Its stock just came back from warranty work, I'm thinking its from not having the boost pill in the hose for the stock boost controller solenoid ?(also i need that hose does anyone know where to buy it ) but the thing is I wasnt even pushing the car, 3krpm when i was cruising and it started bugging.

I fig. it was from NO pill, just wanted to see if there was any other problem going on, this way everyone cant say "yup, its the pill"

removed pill != stock around 3k rpm is near when you're hitting peak boost. I'd guess its throwing a p1345 code. only way to know is to get it pulled. Try autozone or something. They'll pull the code for free.

its not the aftermarket pill, its that little gold stock pill thats in the hose connected to the boost controller solenoid..i mean there must be a reason for it...thanks
