Beat my MPG
lol I wish I had saved mine from my old WRX, I went down Pike's Peak for a while with no throttle...

That is just instantaneous MPG, which is all mathematically based. Depending on how it was programmed it will have a max displayed number. Its not very accurate and tends to be annoying to watch. As you accelerate, it goes down - no...really?

On my trip back from Florida I was low on gas and getting nervous, but luckily I was mostly heading downhill and even at 75 MPH I was averaging over 40 mpg and easily made it to the next gas station. I'm sure I was paying for it on the way up the mountains though!
You can pretty much max out those MPG calculations by coasting down from higher speeds with no throttle since the injectors are literally turned off.

Yeah that's just the computer basing your MPG on previous miles, once you start to drive and accelerate it's quickly corrected! More or less it's just a figurative number thats often wrong more times than not!
hahaha thats nice
I have never tried that, I cant manage to keep my foot of the throttle long enough lol
But lets see my best real world mileage, driving from work to home was 27.2mpg I have a pic of it in my cel.
