EAGAJT;ALRKTJANAT.!! I cannot for the life of me find out what Is causing this rediculous vibration, it only happens at a complete stop, and it only happens about 5% of the time, and it seems in sync with my exhaust tone (if that makes any sense)

could it just be the noise resonating since you have the test pipe?

This is probably not the case, but did you install stiffer mounts/inserts ?

No sir. I hate this its excuse me @%^!@^#$%^!$%#$%!@% rediculous. I just keep hitting one problem after another. Now my drivers side HID is out, and I have no effing clue why. The DRLS work, the side blinkers work, but the hid bulb wont turn on......... I will have this checked at the dealer Friday, as for the vibration, cant really have the dealer look at that can I
I think I may have figured out where the vibration is occuring, I had to pull the exhaust together due to a little gap and I think it may be vibrating against the bottom of the car where the flex part of the 02 downpipe is, however, I have no clue how I will go about fixing this if that is the case. Tomorrow I will jack the car up, and if necessary remove the downpipe to check things out , this has all been one big annoyance, why cant parts just install, and be done.

The culprit

With the heat shield removed

Any suggestions?
I would rather not dremel it off, but I may have to in order to get clearance.

Looks like my shake the hell out of it suggestion worked, lol.

This is what we do on our test pipe. We add an extra bend to clear that joint.

Thanks,

Michael

Well I cant exactly use my super-human strength to bed mine, I'm strong but not that strong. I might just remove that bolt from the heat shield, shouldnt do any harm.

You might be able to cut the stud, so you can still retain the heat shield. Good Luck! Keep us posted.

I removed the heat shield and test pipe then chopped off about an eighth of an inch of the bolt, then replaced the heat shield and nuts, so far no vibrations. I'll keep you guys posted, this seems like its only an issue with Strait-through Pipes, not ones like ETS that have bends in them.
