400 is alot of money...
usually a curbage only damage the tyres
it seldom damage the rim
the rim is tough as hell
but if your talking about scratch on the side
its different case

 

^? I've had plenty of minor curbage on the rim and virtually none to the tire. What do they make the tyres from "Down-undah?"

 

I'm going in next Tuesday for the fuel line recall. Told them about my rim and that I have wheel and tire package. I'll let you know if it was worth spending the $400. Only reason I got it is because Mass winters suck big ones and the tires cost 325 each to replace(not that I would, there's better tires out there for cheaper.)

 

How long does that $400 cover you? Life of the car, life of the standard warranty, etc.? It could be worth it, but if they balk that would be BS!

 

when i bought my wheel tire warranty i think the papers say 3year/36kmiles

 

I don't suppose it covers wear/tear on tires?
