I hope you can win this!! Busters towing clearly killed my OEM mudflap, but they are denying and icbc isn't helping me either
I hope busters towing used a flat bed, or at least stuck rollers under your wheels to tow your car...otherwise they killed a lot more than your OEM Mudflaps!!!!

F'n Mitsu mechanics...one scratched the heck out of my rims and cracked the paint on my Brembo's when putting my from tire back on

I just don't let anyone else touch my Evo anymore. I'll be putting my own fuel line on like I did with the Hood release cable recall.

i just got my recall work done at Healy Mitsubishi NY.
I even chatted online when i was waiting. What an awesome dealership

They told me the SAWC reflash for a colder temperature. Something to do with the fluid vs cold vs S-AWC fluid pump.
The fuel line has some rubber cushion now so will not crack.. Not like it did but being safe i guess.
And so .

I hope who had a bad experience will work out . Just look for another dealership . I'm sure not all of them is bad. Fact Where i go is great.

Yeah I just got the SAWC reflash and the fuel line fix today. They informed me that they were going to void my engine warranty because of an intake and a hard pipe on the for the hot side of the intercooler. I can maybe see an argument for the intake (very little) but the hard pipe? How is this any different than the rubber hose that was there originally...I mean come on. And on top of that they said because of the BOV I had...which I informed them that it was the stock BOV that came from the factory. I mean if you are going to start voiding warranties at least you should know what you are talking about.

yeah, thank god they used dollies! The irony is that the dollies were the cause of my bent OEM mudflaps, but it's better than a broken tranny!

I am a Honda master Tech and I always care for customers cars as they are my own. Not all are like me maybe 5%. I hate anyone else touching my car but if I had to take it in I would personally take the tech 10-15-20 bucks and say please be careful with my car. We get paid crap to do warranty work, its fine with me work is work but to pay extra attention to something that is not oem is far beyond most techs abilities.

Updates: This dealership is truly lame, they tried to sell me a Oil Change Program for $200 less as a compensation for the damage. What makes them think I am ready to spend more money on them before solving this issue??

Since my last email exchange on last friday with the Operation Manager who says he will escalate the matter to the General Manager and gave me an answer by Oct 27, I have yet heard back from anyone yet, after my reminder email I sent yesterday.

My patience and temper is running out, if I don`t hear back from them anytime soon, I will report the incidence to Mitsu Canada HQ and let them take care of this for me.

Updates: After the escalation to the GM, they have agreed to replace my ARC pipe with a brand new one. Although they are still on defense on whether they caused the damage, neither can they prove it is not their fault.

All I care about is the outcome, and I am satisfied with their resolution. It will take about 3-4 weeks to order in the new pipe.

I have also confirmed with the Operation Manager that my warranty is good with my mods.

He did mention that Mitsubishi Canada HQ would monitor the Evo forums from time to time, and document any misuse or abuse of the motor/car for the purpose of denying warranty coverages. Didn`t know they would actually spend the time doing that, but good to know I suppose.
