Sure the x is much better looking than the 8 or 9 but it sounds like you want a track car.
LOL! Tell that to ryan gates.

i say keep the MR if you miss a manual that bad get a daily beater like a current gen Civic Si and drive the MR on the weeekends..you'll appreciate the car a lot more..

plus i think the MR is an amazing machine and tranny..all comes down to personal preference

My honest opinion is you should quit asking us our opinions. Only you can answer it yourself. Take some time to think about it. Take everything into consideration. Warranty, money, enjoyment, real purpose, differences, etc. Write it down in list form ... pros / cons. Then make the assessment yourself. This thread is quickly turning into a MR vs GSR thread. I don't see how any points could be brought up in the discussion between the two. It's been discussed endlessly. In the end it will just turn into more GSR guys recommending the car than the MR guys. You can figure it out on your own .

To say the X isn't a race car is laughable. It's a tracking king. There are very few cars in the world that have the handling the X has. Gates has broken many modified class records in his X.

I say stay with your MR. If your patient enough I think it will pay off with a properly upgraded Trans. We have had some of the same issues with the GTR with power levels past 600awhp but now we have upgraded clutches, gears, etc... This type of trans is really the future and it paired with a well thought out modded car is going to be killer. There is no way you can shift manually that fast.
