I ran the Fumoto valve on my S2000 for two years without a single issue. It's way cleaner than using a stock drain plug, it's faster (could change the oil completely without getting under the car), and it definitely kept me from ever cross-threading or stripping the oil pan. I think it's a great tool and there are a number of Japanese race teams that use these as well.

Ordering one online with a straight drain adapter, plastic cap and a 3' clear hose.

I will admit I did enjoy reading the ignorance and bickering lol.
