I got my UR testpipe and Greddy SE cat-back exhaust installed a month ago, everything was perfect until once I hit 6000rpm on highway, engine light went on and never go off, I tried to reset the car by disconnect the battery, it worked for a few days, and again, when I hit around 5000rpm, it went on again and never go off till now.My friend told me it's ok, no harm to the engine,but it really bothers me. is it really ok?? how can I fix it?? the test pipe is a improved version,told by UR,they said most of the cars will not have the CEL problem with the new version, but why mine's special

BTW, GF bought me a BOV for my birthday, if I got that installed , is it gonna make it worse?? does the BOV really harm the engine like everyone said

 

I dont know if you have an Autozone or something similar in Canada, but I would suggest going to get the code read. Once you have the code you can figure out a way to fix your problem.

I'm pretty sure Its the testpipe. +1 on getting the code read then if that's the problem get yourself a fouler off eBay.
