alright, i kno im going to sound like the biggest idiot in the world but i don't really care.
heres the question: Since on the forum, I've heard people talk about the different "trims" of the evo x? like JDM or AEM or OEM and other weird abbreviations but whats the big difference between them all? is it like britain, us, japan or something? and how do you tell which one you have? or does it not matter?
any info to clear this up is greatly appreciated.

JDM is japanese domestic market. OEM is original equipment manufactured. AEM is an aftermarket brand name. You have the USDM-United States Domestic Market.

USDM Evo? Seriously? Unless you're referring to left hand drive option. Evo's are fully made in Japan.

 

USDM is United States Domestic Market like said above. That doesnt mean that the car was made in the US it means it was assembled or built / designed and sold in the US. I know the VIII's and IX's are all Made in Japan and Im pretty sure all the X's are too. Should say on your window sticker. %100 Japan Parts %100 Assembled in Japan.

But I wonder if the OP was speaking more about trim styles like SE GSR MR etc....

Becasue thouse are different "trim" styles etc. USDM JDM UK or whatever I dont really consider "trim" styles"
