Need help with the Tire monotoring system pressure?

here is the story several days ago i had a flat tire and i needed to use the sapre one drove like that and on the dash came that the system requiered service also when i fixed the tire the guy that worked on it broked the sensor so i had to order a new one,know that i have placed the new sensor in the tire the warning from the dashboard doesnt go away it still says service required i tried disconnecting the battery but had no luck its still there so what do i do?

Bring it to your dealer and have them reset the sensors so the car can pick up all 4 instead of just 3, which is what is causing the error on the dash.

well i took it to the dealer and the mutt detected 2 errors which are

c1942 and c1941 they tried to erase the dtc codes but they wouldnt erase any ideas?

The dealer is dumb. They need to program the new sensor into the car, not just erase dtcs. The tpms works like bluetooth handsfree the 4 sensors and the control unit needs to be paired together.

^^^ What he said. Your dealer is nuts. They have to reprogram the sensor so the car will get a signal from it.

well yeah they are dumb they couldnt do it i had to use my old sensor to fix this problem we really need a DIY tool to avoid going to dealers which is what i hate most cause they dont no jack about the cars they sell!!!!!!!!!!!!
