yea i think there's a lot of livability you have to lose to get it down to 3200 - and safety to get it down to 3000.. and complete craziness and acid dipping to get to 2800??

My Project is to catch the weight of the Evo IX
Stock Evo IX GSR at 3274 pounds.

Stock Evo X GSR weight (plain, non premium sound, non ss), 3569 lb

This is my diet so far:

OEM Exhaust weight:
Cat-Back Exhaust System: 45 lbs.
Test Pipe Mitsubishi EVO X: 14 lbs.
Total OEM exhaust weight from down pipe back: 59 lbs.


Modified Exhaust weight:
AMS Racing Series Cat-Back Exhaust System: 21 lbs.
AMS 3" Test Pipe Mitsubishi EVO X: 5 lbs.
Total Modified Weight: 26 lbs.

Saved weight= 59-26= -33 lbs.

60% fuel
no driver
no spare, jack, subs
stock GSR wheels, 245/40 NT05s
UR turbo back exhaust
T1r IC piping
ETS FMIC
Stance coilovers
2 piece front girodisc rotors
1 piece rear girodisc rotors
netbook in the glovebox

for me is hard to compare because I have be removing the parts step by step, but some tech guys, friends of mine, always say that they notice a huge difference in my car vs. stock. Gain speed, yes, definitely. Control? I don't feel any difference. Maybe I should take a stock x test drive at the dealership and tell you later.

Me (260), under 1/4 tank, aero package, NAV, etc. I think I had the spare tire out and that is with an aftermarket exhaust.
