Honestly, I don't get the age thing, unless this is about folks who aren't car people to begin with. My automotive tastes at 46 are what they were at 36, 26, and 16 years of age. What changes?
Ha they did a similar skit on Top Gear UK and asked some girls in the audience if they would date guys in various cars. They approved a red 996 GT3 and rejected a guy in a yellow Evo VIII. It was hilarious. As an aside, I have a coworker who is in his late 40's who drives a white VIII. I have not issue driving an Evo, I could could care less who thinks what.

+1. Bought my first evo this year at 37. I would have done about anything to have this car at 16 if it had existed, but had to wait until now to afford it. Three kids probably had something to do with that...

My wife and three daughters all hate it by the way...they just don't understand.

I get asked sometimes if I'm driving my son's car for the day....
Bought it when I was 58 and still love driving it at 62 years old...

X MR is a grandpa car... X MR Touring even more so. But I've seen all sorts of guys driving all sorts of cars.

My favorite was this mid-70s guy who had a C6 Z06 with like 2500 miles on it, brought it to the track his first chance, played around an entire 20 min session with me in the ol'Evo. He was a great driver too.

I think I just got offended by that comment sir!!! Are you insinuating that late 20's early 30's is old!?!?!
