I think you're slightly over thinking it. It's a fine battery. It's 12 volts, it has a pretty yellow top, and you live in a warm state where people where shorts at Christmas.
You could buy the cheapest battery in the land and still be fine. You went with a much more expensive one. You're going to be super fine.
The most important thing with Optimas, though, is to CORRECTLY add it to your signature line. It's not enough to just like "Optima Battery". I suggest the following:
Color Coded: OPTIMA YELLOW TOP BATTERY followed with a fashionable lightning bolt, to denote POWER.

Or, since it's YELLOW, and has POWER:

Also, on a secondary note, if you have JESTR install it, it adds 500CCAs to the battery. I had Buschur install a battery for me once, and when I drove past power plans, the lights actually dimmed, so strong was my electrical output. The Federal government actually put a restraining order on me and nuclear power plants, to avoid a nuclear melt down.
Here's a recently released photo from the Russian government. See if you can spot the REAL problem at Chernobyl.

Where does it say 6v?
I think Group 35 is what they list being appropriate for our cars and the stock battery is around 38 lbs. You might be able to get away with the smaller battery sizes for warmer climates though, just make sure you can properly anchor it down in the mounts.
I'm using a 14 lb SP680 Dry Cell Battery from STM which has almost the same Cranking Amps but very low reserve capacity, so far it's been ok for daily driving even in the winter months so I'm quite sure the Red or Yellow top batteries will work just fine for anyone assuming those are the right sizes they listed.

The red top is going to be better suited for a daily driven car and usually will last longer. The yellow top is better if you like to leave the doors open and radio playing for a couple of hours with the car off. It also might be better suited for heavy use of a 9000 lb winch, but I never had any issue with a red top in my jeep either.
