I don't think you have a 'serious problem'... I agree that you just need a tune.

If you dont have a recirculating setup that might be part of the problem. You should take everyones advise and get a tune to see if that fixes it. If you dont have the setup for the VTA I would either change it or get the setup. Most guys just want it for the swoosh sound, I think its just ricey for me.

Has anybody had this happen to them? What was it? Any ideas? I plan to go back to stock other then the down pipe and go to the dealer, Perhaps its time for a dyno tune?
overboost /torque limit exceeded
i had this problem sometimes when its very cold out i over boosted to almost 30 psi, and im on stock solenoids with just a ams turboback ams reflash and intake, A Dyno tune will fix the issue

The thing is,my car does not go limp. It drives fine, no bogging down, nothing. The only problem is the lights and I cant turn the ASC back on.

check the fluid level in the trunk reservoir. if it is low it will kick off the traction control while NOT throwing a check engine light.

I'm not sure what the code is, I didn't get a print out of the scan or anything. I believe it was the code you mentioned earlier, the numbers look familiar. The only thing with that is that the car usually goes limp with that code and that doesn't happen with me. The good thing I was told is to have the tuner disable the DTC when I get the car tuned and the problem will be solved.
