Has anyone installed a new steering wheel yet

Thinking about buying a new momo steering wheel and had a couple questions...Any info on the matter will help, just wanted to hear some peoples experience with there x's

1. Since the driver side airbag will be removed, will the other airbags in the vehicle still work? If not, is there a fix for the issue to get them to work?

2. When the stock wheel is off if there is any airbag wires what should i do with them?

3. After the install will there be an annoying dash light that does not shut off? If there is, is there a way to turn it off?

4. Do i need to take any precautionary measures while taking the stock wheel off so that the airbag doesnt go off?

I did some research but couldnt find nothing about a new wheel on the x

P.S. im not worried about warranty or having a driverside airbag so please lets leave those comments out...thanks guys

check the how to section, there's a thread on how to install bluetooth onto your car. it shows how to remove your steering wheel. its quite simple. yes there will be the annoying airbag light on your dash if you go with aftermarket steering wheels.

Get the Work Bell quick release hub and adapter kit it comes with the resistors needed to get rid of the air bag lights. However I cannot testify if it works 100% since I haven't had the chance to install mine as it is minus 10 000 degrees up here.

^ I know the same light comes on when you remove the seats too, but someone out there has to know how to fix that light that comes on. Whether it be a part that does it or a way to wire it up different(i.e. resistors or a type of cell fix). Im also getting my bride seats in about a week so im goin to have to do this for them to.

Nobody has switched to an after market steering wheel yet?

I have all the Works Bell stuff. I'm just undecided on which wheel I want.

Anyone know the OEM diameter?
