i hope you guys all realize it, who talk about the IX MR as a true MR ever in here, never been any real EVo MR sold in the US soil through dealers i'm aware of...

Not even the X MR. Since its nothing more then a loaded X GSR with SSt...

Anyways my take on this. The Evo is always a better car if you want overall performance.
The BMW will be always better show off / recommended for managers with flashy color ties / And more livable daily driver.

Unless we talking about M3.

THAT aspect of the evo luster is going away. looking ahead, i dont know if the evo can compete with the big boys anymore and that IS one of its best selling points. the gap between cars like the M3, GT-R, 911, etc used to be smaller. looking ahead i can only see it widen. that's NOT a good thing for the evo.

even with the talks of active suspension and active steering in the next evo. man that's old news. other cars have been using this for years. hybrid evo? well we'll see how they implement it to be unique and hopefully stay competitive with cars well out of its price range. porsche's 918 seems to be a killer already so if mitsu can even come close with a AWD sedan body style, it's gonna be a winner... if not, the evo just may be history because in order to still be competitive, it will need to go up in price and at that point it will price itself outta its market...

oh and why i like ATTESA so much is because nissan decided to go with a pure performance AWD when no one else had to ***** to. lambo and R8 just used what's available, not a new ground breaking system like the GT-R.
hm... no other cars using active TQ vectoring that long as the Mitsu. There for they are far away from the Mitsu both in racing and street experience . So the S-AYC system is superior compare to any other sedan or anything under 60K.

Also i dont know where you been, but the X is still compete with the big boys , and even some cases they put it in unpresented comparisons and took it well. Look up all those Evo X vs XXX thread. Tons of them here.

No need to be bashing here. Specially Evo vs 335i thread LOL.

Yeah... and they do free shipping to other states... you end up saving something in the 4 digits!

yes im aware. the point was made for all e90/e92/e93 cars vs the M3 which has a great tq vectoring LSD. the 3 series doesnt even have a regular LSD. sad really.

i always found it funny how a cobalt SS can have a LSD option yet the "ultimate driving machine" doesnt... ultimate MARKETING machine is more like it...

nah. AYC or tq vectoring rear diffs is nothing new. it just wasnt popular as it is nowadays. nowadays in order to one up your competitors you have to follow the trends and add in all the bells and whistles: Dual clutch trannies, active suspension, active steering, active aero, tq vectoring, direct injection, variable vane turbo, etc. etc. etc.

the evo was unique in that they went with the AYC route and other cars were content with regular LSDs. now they have included AYC in their bag of go fast goodies and the evo will have what?

thats why i say the evo IN THE FUTURE will not run with the big boys anymore. they will continue to get better toys while mitsu will stay stuck trying to jam pack as much speed as they can in an evo package under 40-50k. cars like the S4, M3, 911, etc can continue to get more toys and get more expensive and people will still buy. make and market a 60k evo and see what happens...
