OEM Parts

Hi....

I am currently stationed in Korea and I am having a hard time coming across OEM Mitsubishi parts. Recently I did my 12,000 mile oil change and I had to order online an oil filter because all the stores here did not have any since Mitsubishi's are not sold here. Basically what I am looking for are some websites that you have used and recommend that ship to APO addresses (military overseas addresses). any help would be greatly appreciated since I would like to be prepared for my 15,000 service, which if i remember correctly calls for the transfer case fluid to be changed.

Car info:
2008 Evo X MR

I am going to need the following items for a 2008 EVO X MR for future maintenance services:

-Trans Axle oil...Mitsubishi genuine Dia-Queen new multi gear oil SAE 75w-80 API GL-3 (3 quarts)

-TC-SST oil...Mitsubishi genuine Dia-Queen SSTF-I (6 quarts)

-Transfer oil...Mitsubishi genuine Dia-Queen LSD Gear oil (1 quart)

-Rear axle oil (for differential)...Mitsubishi genuine Dia-Queen multi gear oil LS

-Rear axle oil (for torque transfer mechanism)...Diamond ATF-SP III

-Cabin filter

I think thats about it, my god i just realized this car uses so many different types of lubes...

IMO skip the SST Mitsu Dia-Queen and go for some SSP Pro Red fluid, stuff is amazing.

You don't need this, it's the tranny fluid for the 5-speed.

And FYI, this is going to require a trip to the dealer to have the system bled using the MUT tool.

Actually for the ATF in the rear diff (about a half quart), you don't need to have the system bled using the MUT tool from what I understand. The bleeding is only necessary if you disconnect the whole system, which has a total capacity of over 7 quarts of ATF.

Shipping parts should be no problem for an APO, I used to get my parts shipped to England all the time - it took a little bit longer though. Fluids are a problem seeing that they may burst during impact (like dropping or a strike) make sure they put plenty of packing peanuts in your shipment. Just speaking from experience.....

Use Diaqueen only in the transfer case. I swapped to Amsoil last year and that was a mistake. The transfer case REALLY likes the diaqueen a lot better.

This.

Russell is your guy. I've ordered stuff from him for both my IX and X and have always been very happy with the service and prices

goofygrin, what were the affects of running non-Diaqueen LSD in the transfer case? Whining? I've heard the same and have stuck to Diaqueen LSD for every part that calls for LSD fluid.

Isn't the rear diff part of that system? Could you explain, I'm confused.
