^ Sorry to hear

One more thing...

The Mitsu invoice said a reflash was performed on the ECU after completing the recall work. Would that be what's causing a problem with my sputtering idle? Do I need to get retuned?

More importantly, is the tune lost?

If they flashed it with a factory tune... Yeah I'd say they over wrote your tune and that is WACK YO!

Yeah dude that could be a big problem! Do NOT go into WOT until you get your tune figured out. Call your tuner if you have been tuned and get your map to flash back in there.

Double check that they flashed the ECU and not the S-AWC computer recall due to cold weather. They should have info on the flash that was applied or a TSB. Post that up to confirm they actually overwrote your tune. And like others have said, if they really did reflash your ecu, don't drive your car hard at all until you get your tuned map back.
