I may be pushing the limits ahah but I do the same route many, many times a year to the cabin and there is a gas station exactly 520kms (323miles) and my first gas warning light flashes at me around 430km (267miles) so I get almost another 100kms (62miles) before I get gas. But every time I get gas, I put in 54-55L (14.3-14.5gal).

Not sure about in the city though.. I always just fill up when I hit 350kms (217miles) but most times this is right after the first gas warning and I put around 50L (13.2gal) so yea like most people have said, you have about 5L (1.3gal) left after that first warning.

I get like 500 miles on a tank before the light comes on. That's a lie... Since plenty of people are lying about thier EVO X Milage I thought that I'd do the same.

But to answer the OP. I don't think that the EVO has a "reserve" tank. You must own a motorcycle. The ligth comes on when there's about 2 gallons left.

That remaining ~2 gallons is commonly called the "reserve" even though it technically is the same gas in the same tank

I like to live dangerously and wait until the 2nd warning light comes on...but then I drive like senior citizen until I find a gas station haha.

I typically refuel at the second warning light. I typically put in 13.5 gals. I typically get between 200-250 per tank.

I started driving my car gently to try and get better mileage while doing my "daily driving" (like to work, etc.)... and now the transmission is learning that behaviour! So now it gentle for the initial push of throttle... and won't downshift as aggressively in normal mode.

I have some info.

2nd warning, the flashing annoying one = 2 gallons left.

Owners manual says we have a 14.5 gallon tank. When I converted to E-85, I ran it completely dry at the gas station. (Well actually I died on the street in front of the station. lol )

you pay $2.55 a gallon? that's awesome...wish there were more e85 stations around here with that kind of pricing

hey bro, what mileage are you getting with the E85 or have you had a chance to tweak it yet?

My first light comes on anywhere between 260-280 miles... would you like to call me a liar? I will take random pics of the mileage if you would like... and why would someone lie about mileage? That's a stupid thing to even say.

correct. but it's not worth the cost of buying and installing to save on gas. unless you're concerned with the environmental impact of burning more gas (but then the evo wasn't the best choice in car).
