I believe it's around 2.0 gallons. At least, that's what I experienced in my car. If I would hit the gas station shortly after the light went on, I would be able to put in 12.5 gallons into the 14.5 gallon tank.

I remember filling up 12.7 gallons right as soon as the gas light came on, so as atombomb said, it's probably close to 1.8 - 2 gallons.

Thirding this. Every time I've hit the station shortly after it's been in the range of 12.4-12.6 gallons.

so consensus is 12.5 gallons used when the light starts to flash. this is so depressing realizing that i've only had 220 miles on that tank, so that comes out to 17.6 mpg. come on, that's in the full size pickup territories. just venting, no need to start another poor gas mileage thread.

You can potentially drive farther but if you fill up regularly and stop trying to squeeze every penny out you're gonna treat your fuel pump better

Lol if you were out of gas how did you start it and drive it away? Were you by chance going up or down a hill and the gas was not going threw? Makes me wonder anyways yes it sucks running out of gas! I had to use a old water bottle and fill it up at a gas station like a block over and then pour it in without spilling did it twice people looked at me funny! Also from spilling the gas so much I tore some card board box i had up and use it as a funnel

I get 150 miles out of that 12.5 gallons. Be happy if you get more than that.

Evo's Gas tank is comprised of a high quality shot glass and the reserve tank is a thimble

I take back what I said yesterday. On the way home from work yesterday, I had my gas light come on, so I immediately stopped and filled up.

11.74 gallons put in, leaving with 3.76 gallons, or in my case, about 40 miles lol.

I got 209 miles out of that which = 17.8mpg
