I was on my motorcycle on the freeway when all of a sudden a big piece of plywood was flapping up in the air in front of me, it came off the semi in front of me, and I don't know how (God was on my side this day), but it missed me by inches (I had to take some evasive maneuvers). It still got to me I pulled off the freeway and just took a couple of seconds to relax and get my heart rate down.

 

The Dent Wizzard dude is coming to my house Saturday evening to work his magic on my fender. He quoted my $175-$200 to repair. I will take that any day!

 

Why retreads should be illegal

 

Yep! and just to prove the point! I was in a shuttle van being transported from FLL airport to West Palm Beach a hr ago crusing down the freeway, and along flys up a big piece of rubber. It went under the van, so no big deal, but on a car like ours it prob will cause damage. Man! I think I have a target on my back or something

 

Ok, after cleaning off all the rubber marks, I have 2 small dents on the top right corner of the hood, a 3 inch or so scratch that went thru paint, and several little chips out of the paint. Pissed off!!! like no tomorrow! Dents can be removed, but it looks like a full repaint of the drivers door! Also I will have to say the STI would have come out in better shape after a hit like this only for the reason of not having alum fender, hood, etc.
