As the title states. Washington state is currently petitioning to remove the front plates. I can probably speak for the most of us by saying "I hate having my front plate". Well lets try and help this pass so we can get rid of them forever.

whats ths issue does a washington state resident by law has to have 2 plates front and rear ?

Actually the part of the law that gets me, is the part where hey lets pull some people w/o front plates, and let like the other bunch of people get away with it.

 

I had a cop pull me over after 2 years of ticket free driving for not having a plate. Before he told me why he stopped me, I was like "there goes my 3 year ticket free resolution". But wait a sec, I do have a front plate! I show the cop, and he's amazed because he saw me while he was parked perpandicular (right) to the road I was driving on and my plate is on the left hand side of the bumper. So he thought I did not have one. He asked me if I had an intercooler because of which the factory does that. Apparently he knew a little bit about cars. I took in a huge breath of relief and drove away. This was in VA near my parents' place. First time EVER that a cop let me go without giving me a ticket.

FYI: A cop letting you go without a ticket in VA is like a hungry lion just sniffing your ***** and letting you go home safely.

Tell me about it. I got pulled over for that a long time ago and counted in 5 mins 40+ cars drive by with no front license plates, infuriating!
