I guess I assumed he had collision coverage. I live in one of those states that goes after the driver at fault and requires full coverage on new vehicles.
Anyway, keep us up-to-date on what happens. I'm interested to see how this works out.
After it's fixed - show some "before and after" pictures.

I had somthing similar happen to me on my first motorcycle, I had just got a new exhaust after graduating high school, Put it on that day and was on the way home from a friends PG rated party and stoped by my now wifes house and just as I was turning in I got hit from behind by some POS honda civic with a camples chunky soup cannon. to top things off all they did was drive off and left me there laying in a pile of mulch. I was extreamly lucky my only injures where just picking sticks out of my back and road rash but since it was a hit and run I had no way getting money for my bike and of course it landed right on my exhaust
Good luck with everything, hope you get it resolved soon. and congrats on the new stance and shoes!

USAA's coverage is good. you should be fine... I recently avoided getting hit, but still had damage to the car, and the person drove off... no poilice report... no plates or anything... told USAA what happened and they were willing to cover it no hassle.

It could always be worse bro. I just bought a few grand worth of parts for my car and just 2 nights ago a Truck cut for an exit right infront of me sending me into a road sign at about 55-60mph. My cars pretty ****ed to say the least. Of course the ******* didnt even stop to help (I was cut up pretty bad from broken glass) and I dont have full coverage so Im stuck with the bill.

No fault must mean different things in different states. for example, In NC no fault means that the police won't issue any citations pointing blame unless someone was hurt (emergency services were needed). They play no part in assigning fault, aside from their objective report.

That really does suck, man. USAA should be able to take care of the claim quickly and efficiently.
Going a little bit off topic, what Coast Guard unit are you stationed at? I'm in the Coast Guard as well and am stationed up at the clinic at the Baltimore Yards.
