Are you running completely stock? Or put back to stock to take to the dealer?

Thanks guys! Just got some time online and gonna try and respond...

Methodical... I've owned 4wd trucks before but never a performance awd car. Can you please tell me how I should be driving the awd? I would have thought had special / unique driving techniques be required, they would have been noted in the owner's manual. I don't mean to be confrontational; just wondering...

mdevo... yes, the car is completely stock since day one. Well, I put on mud flaps. That's the only change...

I still haven't heard when they want me to drive it back up to the dealer so the rep can take a look... meh.

I don't think that's true on the X's. I know on the 8's and 9's you have to allow a small bit of time between shifts especially on the 1-2 but on the X I have not found this to be true at all. I have gone WOT and nailed the 1-2 shift without any grinding on both my 08 and 2010 FWIW.

Mitsubishi doesn't care about you until you get a lawyer. Or at least, that was my experience. They didn't care about my problem until I threatened to sue them. Now, not only have they had to pay all kinds of extra costs to send special techs out here, they also settled with me. My car was in their hands for over 2 months. When I got a lawyer, everything was handled EXTREMELY quickly. As of this point, the problem has been resolved .It's really sad that I have to be an advocate of filing suit against Mitsubishi to get something done. Maybe if they'd stop messing around, they could profit.

Oh, and IMO, 2 weeks for an approval would have had me screaming and yelling at people to hurry the hell up. Just find a lawyer.

I would lawyer up as well. In my experience Dealers do not take your seriously until you demonstrate that your ready to play ball.

If your car is truly stock and not modded then put back to stock I would fight this battle to the death.
