I love the mounting location. How difficult of an install was this?

Looks like you either cracked the plastic or creased the CF vinyl... or both?

I've always liked that position for the gauges though.

I like the location too, but I would never cut on my car like that... whoever owns it next wouldn't likely find 2 holes in the dash to appealing.... but like I said I do like it... mine it just mounted with double sided tape lol... i'm hoping during some of these extremely hot days that it will hold up... but if not, no big deal and i'll just keep remounting it.

you're just cutting that long trim piece that runs along the dash, which can be replaced with a brand new one for $80 if you decide to sell the car eventually

It did crack a bit during the install,



and I went to a scrap yard and picked an extra trim piece up cheap, so I still have the stock one if I want to return it to original.

nah it's just a regular lancer trim piece, and those are lying around everywhere
