i got the chance to use the horn for the 1st time last week, oh my lord, it sounded like a horn from a ice cream truck. is it because it's 100% Japan made therefore they don't come with the tradition sounded horn?

thats the way all horns sound.. go buy some train horns or some hella supertones. Not like it matters.

the evo horn is downright manly compared to the horn in my old MS3.

<grin> I actually weighed one of the stock horns on my IX (car comes with two) and a Hella truck horn. The Hella weighed ~1.25lbs more. An upgraded horn is something no serious street pilot should be without.

The horn sounds tinny because the front end of the Evo should be enough to scare people out of the way

 

just get an open wastegate and scare ppl out of the way, or an IC with the word MOVE stenciled in. otherwise, who cares. thats why this car comes with brembos and good suspension to avoid situations where the horn is needed.

Huh? The suspension and brakes aren't going to help when the car is sitting at a light with a pensioner trying to merge into its side. That's just one example.
