I would highly recommend removing the CDV as it is likely the cause of your bucking on the low rpm shifts, the difference is night and day on how smooth you can shift at low RPM once it is removed.

Me, I've noticed my second gear synchro just likes a more natural "downshift" matching of gear/RPM speeds. If I had to guess, there was probably a design consideration for heel-toe driving. So when going up from 1st to 2nd, the recommendations of driving it harder, like a turbo, hi-performance ride, are all apt, including a little delay.

If you wanna drag strip car, the clutch change seems mandatory, but for track/autoX, you don't want shifts from 1st to 2nd anyway.

no pain at all buddy.

the wise route would be to take that advice instead of acting like you understand the mechanics of the car and it is the car's fault.

typical modern american mentality: "if i find faults or shortcomings in myself then i must find something else to blame other than myself because i'm wonderful."

I actually had the fluids changed today and it's not bucking anymore thank God.
Hate tobe the bearer of bad news, but sometimes it's not the driver even if he is new.
Feels good. A little too good.

And why are you starting with "typical American mentality". Sounds to me like you are the one searching to put a quick blame down or start a flame war. Cheers. I'm gonna go have a beer and enjoy the rest of my weekend. I hope you do too.

did you get the fluids changed at the dealer? was it free? did they say anything was wrong with the original (ie too low)?

just curious...

I had my car serviced at the dealer. The checkup and oil change was free. After looking over the technician notes it says that the fluids were crystal clean with no shavings. Basically I just had an oil change and idk, but the car feels a lot better. Under the notchy 1-3rd shifting box it's stated as perfectly normal for the car and once again stated the the fluid was in excellent condition. If i was to have them change it out, it would be coming out of my pocket and end up with Mitsu fluid. We all know dealerships charge an arm and a leg, so I'll just end up ordering the MTL online and have like Meineke do it.
