Would you say you were loyal to the Evo?
I bought my car for the performance and it has delivered. I beat on my car everyday and never had any problems other then a sensor go out. The car is staying with me till the end of me or eva (my car's name).
Mits in general i'm not a fan of other then the evo line.

I have no plans to buy another Evo. No reason to; lots of great cars out there. Don't get me wrong, I bought my IX to keep and it's not going anywhere. The next addition to the stable will be a Miata, hopefully, next summer.
Id say im a loyal Evo owner. I hate dealing with Mitsubishi though. Ive had a Evo 8, 9 MR and now a X. The X is now my work horse I put alot of miles on it and have a new M3 in the garage. Thank goodness BMW has enjoyed my business enough over the past years that they actually work on my Evo for free sometimes. Because taking the car to Mitsubishi is my least favorite thing to do.
Anyways, ill always be an Evo fan. Im hoping to soon buy an Evo 9 MR again and keep it forever.

Even when I had my STI and loved it I still always wished I had bought an Evo. For me the biggest buyers remorse came when I bought my STI and the Evo X came out. I had initially sated my regret by driving my friends VIII and really appreciating my STI as the better daily driver (which is what I want in a car) of the two.
However the X is everything I've ever wanted by drawing that line in between ride comfort and speed. Not tame and soft (my Genesis) but not lets race mode all the time (my modded STI).
As a brand I would say I'm not loyal as the only car they make that I'd drive is the Evo.

This is my 3rd evo and have loved every moment with them. Yes Mitsu is a PITA to deal with on Warranty but, these cars beg to be driven and I will be with my evo for many more years to come.
i had a VIII IX and now the X.
only big issue i had it was with the VIII and with her syncros , other than that problem free history for me in the evo land.
Yes they have small issues like ANY other car. That is just a nature of cars in general.
But the perfomance and possibilities for the price is unmatched.
so i guess im loyal for a reason.

I do all my regular maintenance such as oil changes, brakes, tire rotations etc... and only use the dealership when I have to for things such as warranty work. I am lucky the dealership I bought the car from and use for the warranty work has an AWESOME! service manager who also is huge into modifying his Evo X so little bolt-ons doesn't get them all worked up. BUT I can honestly say that when my warranty is up on the Evo/when it comes time to move on, I won't ever be returning to a Mitsubishi vehicle... It is a good car and takes abuse very well, but for the price you pay up here in Canada for one ($50,000+) there are A LOT of things lacking.
I love my X, but if I had the money... the 335d with the Sport package would be mine. Nice car, good mileage, not nearly as fast, but it is quick. If only I had the money
I've owned 1G, 2G DSM's and an EVO but I'm getting up there in age so for me it may be more about priorities than anything else. Mitsubishi builds decent cars and the brand has been good to us but soon I'll be ready to move on to something still sporty but more mature like a BMW or Audi.
