I have an appointment for tomorrow at 1pm for a re-flash. The guy i talked to said it should be free of charge (i guess under warranty, because he mentioned how many miles i have/is it modded). Hopefully things go well!

I plan to just get that and a K&N drop-in filter for now.

Don't do a K&N.

Just go get a off the shelf flash, it should be cheap and you will be able to return to stock for warranty purposes...

^ Really? I know some say it messes up the MAF, and some say it doesn't. Has anyone tried the AFE dry filter?

I thought about that too, but is it really worth it to go stage 0? Tuned stock car. Because i planned on getting an exhaust and intake and was ganna get a tune then and just do the drop in for now. I plan on doin this sometime at the end of this year or even early next yr. With that being said, will tuning the car stock, no mods, worth it? Also, what would i need? Open Source? Or would i have to get an AP?

Thanks, im really noob, but i wanna learn haha.

yes it's worth it!

even if you put a shelf flash (like from Gunzo) on your car it will be a massive improvement.

cobbap is good for noobies or people that dont want to get into the nittygritty!

ecuflash is the cheapest option (especially if your going to self tune)

on the other forum, Gunzo has prepared some base maps for people to use, for free.

you just need a cable to flash ($200 from tactrix.com) (and a laptop as well)

that will give you the ability to go back to stock if necessary.

if you want to pay for a tune, then find someone local and take your car to them
