Clutch Noise?
Clutch Noise?
Hey guys yesterday when I pulled up to my house I pulled up a littler closer to the curb than I wanted. My car was facing downhill so I put it in reverse and started backing up slowly. I had my windows down and I heard a really bad metal scraping noise like if I exhaust was hanging low. I thought I might be dragging something so I got out and looked everywhere and couldn't find anything.
I hope it's not my clutch, I have the stock clutch and I just went over 20k.
Now that I'm typing this I am realizing it could be my pads that were sticking a little. I hope that's it. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the same kinda thing that happens to me occasionally. Was reverse fully engaged? Sometimes mine won't fully engage and I hear a scrape but it's usually only when I first start my car then put it in reverse, as far as I've read it's somewhat normal. That being said I think my dealership was pretty hard on my clutch during test drives bc mine's already in need of replacement ~5k in.
