4th gear is playing pranks
Turn your cars completely off and try to move your shifter into 4th gear without pressing the clutch. Does it fully get into gear? Mine does. Funny thing is when I turn the car on and then try to repeat the same steps, it doesn't even go into 4th gear which is completely normal if you don't press in the clutch. Driving is completely normal though. Is this a common issue? Does ne1 else notice this? I was just sitting in my car with the keys in my lap and just ever so slightly moved the lever down and I almost got a heart attack until I turned it on and no issue lol.

Am I misunderstanding your question, or is this the first manual car you've ever owned/driven? It sounds like you're wondering whether or not it's normal to be able to put the car in gear, when the engine is not running, without using the clutch.
With the car off and the keys removed I can move my lever freely into 4th gear without pressing in the clutch.
When I turn the car on and then try to repeat the same process. It will not go into 4th gear unless I am pressing in the clutch.
Mine is a 2010 GSR
I can't explain it better than that.
I wanna know if ne1 else 2010's 4th gear is accessible with the car turned off and your not pressing in the clutch.
This doesn't happen and any other gear. And I know it is weird.

You should be able to freely put any manual vehicle in any gear when the car is off, without using the clutch. As long as there is no binding of the gears. Thus, why I ask if this is the first manual you've ever owned.
As a matter of fact, you don't even "need" the clutch to shift gears. The only thing you need it for is to get started from a stop. (I'm not advocating shifting without a clutch, just saying it's possible)

Yeah this is my first manual car and i get around just fine. Does that make you mad yours wasn't? But... this question didn't really pertain to "how" to drive a stick vehicle. Dyslexia must suck. Anywho, thanks Webman for the response. Appreciate it.

The simple answer: The only reason they won't go into gear is because the gears aren't turned to a point where they mesh. Generally movement of the car or pushing the clutch in (allowing gear movement), allows you to force the gears to mesh. The reason you can't put it into gear when it's running is... well... go read the wiki page about a synchronized transmission, and you'll get it.
