Hi guys, have anyone manage to install the new colored meters to the 2008/9 evo x?

I thought of getting one but was told that they could only indent one using the chassis number of my car, that means the one i indent will still be the old version.

 

Sorry man, not sure what you mean by "indent" (install?).
The '10+ meter should be plug and play. It uses the same CAN signals to display data differently. The electronics of it all should be incorporated into the meter itself.

Can anyone who's tried this confirm?

 

pretty sure it's very expensive job, I read somewhere u have to send it to Texas because of the digital tach? idk but there has been alot of these threads, search around

to my knowledge no one has attempted to do this and the information is very limited

 

I don't really care about the color display, but would LOVE to have the engine coolant temp displayed across all screens like the new one. I complained to Mitsubishi about that. I'm glad they listened... too bad I'm stuck with the crappy version.

is there any sites that i can buy the meters? singapore sells at the range of SG$1000+

 

the trouble is you will need a region coded one

AND

you will also probably need a dealer to "hook" it up (ie MUT3 it)
