Answering the " What first mods should i get " question!
I have been searching all over EvoM for a list... i have seen a few but they were responses but not alot of good ones. Im going to try to make this thread of some of the best first mods ( if you disagree please let me know )
Add your own so it will help everyone else and have alot of options

+1...after you've learned to drive the car first.
As you add more HP mods (UICP, CBE, DP, HFC or test pipe, intake), you just reflash to the next level of Cobb tune.
After that, I'd start thinking about suspension. Start first with an adjustable RSB (and end links) to make the car more neutral in the corners.

highflow cat / below $350/
tune depends, but the whole first step shouldn't run you over $ 1200.
Most important to learn the car, it is very capable as it is./ HPDE - hill climb/

all the things you mentioned are good things to start with (maybe not the specific brand/model but that's just preference). you could definitely do without a MBC and LICP.
i agree on driver mod comments though. i'm not making TONS of power, yet what i have is too much for my skills on an autox course. i watch a miata or older m3 go out on a course and just floor it to close to redline and wish i could just do that instead of flooring it and having boost kick in hard then be on the brakes hard for dear life. i'm sure once my skills improve i'll know how to drive it. my point is that it's well worth your efforts to learn to manage the stock power level before breaking the bank on more power (even though it is still cool no matter how you cut it).
