2011 or 2012 seats?
Any word if the newer models are going to offer an option for a seat that can actually fit and large sized american butt? I hear the rallysport is going to be slightly upgraded, but its still not the same...
Wish they'd offer a decent seat option for big guys. Had they offered them before, I'd be driving my evo right now!

it's bad enough everything already gets watered down for fat lazy americans. the USDM seats are already looser than the seats used in other markets for that very reason. if you want a big seat, go get a 2010 camaro. it's huge, soft, and the seats are as wide as a loveseat.

What?
Not only will he be able to fit in the car but he'll look and feel better, not to mention the health benefits.
I love the seats in my MR, they prevent me from ever bringing home a fat chick from a night of too much drinking.

there's a model from recaro or sparco, not sure, called EVO III , for big guys 46"-48" if you buy all that you need for that seat the total amount including shipping is around $1100 (from the factory)
. i hope you are not too far away from 48", otherwise i will recomend you other car.
and nop, i don't think they have any intentions to prepare wider seats, they will provably loose clients.

My normal sized gf, 5'2", 103lbs, fits fine. even girls i know that are 5'8" 135, which is still a normal size, fit in the car fine.
moral of the story is, if there's a FEMALE that can't fit in the EVO, that's one HUGE *****. Handcuff her big *** to a treadmill. She shouldn't be riding anywhere. She could use the walk.

^ Yet it's still so heavy.
I'd invest the money you're going to spend on the Evo on a personal trainer first. When you fit, then you can buy it cause honestly, those seats fit my dad perfectly, and let's just say he's pretty big.
