After doing a search for heated mirrors, this came up. Anyone have a partnumber for the heated mirrors or the elements ? I had to scrape my mirrors this morning and I was worried about messing them up. My 96 Talon had heated mirrors, my Evo should too.

Mitsu sells the heated mirror element by itself, but you would have to add the wires yourself.

The best option is to buy the whole mirror assembly.

If you are willing to put up with really wavy glass, there are aftermarket options out there for 70 bucks for both heated mirrors

Do you happen to know the part number for the factory heated mirrors? Any place that I can get them for a better price besides the dealer? Thank you

The GSR has the wires for the heating elements in place but nothing to connect to. You can get the mirror assembly from car-parts (Kool Vue brand) for like 90 a side. It's plug and play. Really, really nice. One of the guys on Evo X did it a few weeks ago.

Sidenote..don't run these if you have the Rexpeed blue mirror overlays. LOL - can only imagine how much this will end up failing.

Sorry to bring this thread back, but i would like more info on heated mirrors. My 2011 gsr doesn't have it, or i don't know how to turn them on. If I don't have the option, then i would like to ad it if possible. All my cars had this. I can't believe a 30+ thousand car doesn't. Can this be added? What do i need? I find the info in this thread a little confusing. Thx.

Look in the book. My MR has them and i didnt know at first till i looked in my book. But the switch for them operates off of the rear windshield defroster.
Look at fuse 22 in the passenger fuse compartment if you have a fuse there 7.5 then you have them if not you dont. expensive add on though.
