Could someone clear up the wing situation for me??

After looking at the forums, I am wondering whats going on with this deal....

Base model GSR has the short wing?
GSR with SSS has tall wing?

I am trying to lean on a dealership to sell me a base gsr with the SSS wing thrown in the back seat for me to install. The sales rep told me they were only 200 bucks his price...is he confused with the stock wing thats already on there?

Some people on here were saying the tall wings were like 2000 bucks, is there a difference between like the GSR w/SSS and the MR?

Need to clear this up before the hammer drops on the deal today.

It appears the big spoiler is 2000+ dollars....damn guy didnt know what he was talking about.

Yea the tall wings should be around 1500-2000 new from the dealer. But.... If you get a 2011 they come stock on the base GSR's. Maybe tell them that and they will come down in price.

I bought mine with the short wing. They wanted $2,200 for the tall one. A few weeks later I bought the tall wing off someone here for $200 and installed it myself. It's easy.

Yes the salesman is confused. I was quoted $2500 for the SSS "tall" wing but like others I just bought one from the for sale section and installed it myself. Even if you have to paint it to match your color you're still way ahead of the game.

For $2000 they are probably trying to sell you the complete SSS package. (Sight Sound and Spoiler)

Nope this is just the wing. The side skirts are about $800, the rear side spats are around $400 and I can't remember how much the front lip costs....

get a seibon tall carbon fiber wing. around $500. Looks much much better then a factory since it is CF. But exactly a same shape.

I have it over 2 years and it is perfect. So dont sweat too much on the OEM , wing. And if you want to painted to your car color you will be still at the half a price of the OEM wing.

if I end up getting the MR Touring I will be getting the Seibon wing too. looks just same just.

Who in their right mind would pay over $2000 just for that dumb a$$ ricer wing?



I have it because it came with the SSS package, which comes with a whole bunch of other stuff as well for the same price.

I have the short wing and love it. The tall wing only matters if you're going to be on the track much.
