Unhappy Paint chips, sad face...

So it finally happened, started getting paint chips on the aluminum. Anyone have a recommendation on touch up paint or how much it costs? Or should I just let it rust and have the warrenty take care of it?

Aluminum doesn't really rust. Just get the mitsu paint pen. I've got WW too and touched it up with the pen, completely invisible more than 1 foot away. Seriously WW is soooooo easy to maintain.

Oh and just wait until you get low offset wheels. My car is covered in **** lol

I bought my WW 2 weeks ago and it already has rock chip on the side. I used the Mitsu touch up pen which is not very effective for small chip. But the color match is pretty good.

Yeah, the head is too big for most rock chip. Also, you need to press down on the tip to get the paint so you have little control on the amount of the paint coming out.

The pen has a very stiff angled tip that comes to a decent pointed edge. If you prime the tip with paint (dab it over and over on a piece of cardboard until it is soaked nicely) you can get the tiny defects with controlled, delicate touches. Just keep dabbing for the bigger defects or if you want it to pool up a bit. I did about 50 little touch ups back in June, mostly on the rear doors but a few on the hood as well. They have all held up. Don't forget the reverse side of the pen is clear coat. For the bigger defects I added the clear. The only place the pen doesn't work is on the plastic side skirts.

i dont think the pen does much all you can do is prevent more chips by adding some 3m clear bra

Go to automotivetouchup.com and order you some good touch up paint for your car, better than the cheap pen Mitsu provides.
