2011 questions.

Alright instead of me going crazy and asking a billion questions in different threads im gonna just make my own.

To my knowledge on the 2011 evo there is no Sight= HIDS, Sound= Rockford fosgate, Spoiler package. There is just a SS package whats missing? My guess is the sound system which was replaced by "FUSE". Does the "FUSE" System come with the kicker and is it 700 watts? Does the "FUSE" System come with a ipod hookup?
Now theres a sunroof and leather wrapped seats. Is that a package? Can i get leather with no sunroof?

This is all on the mitsubishi motors website but.
All GSRs come stock with the tall wing.
The SS package is sight and sound. so HIDs and Rockford punch.

FUSE has nothing to do with rockford. FUSE has the iPod hookup.

The leather and sunroof cannot be ordered separately. unless you have a serious hookup in japan

newly tuned exhaust and tall wing is standard on gsr's
leather and sunroof comes in a package. also comes with console that has compartments and better soundproofing
ss is sight and sound: comes with hids, rockford fosgate system and fast key

fuse is like ford's sync system. yea there's ipod connectivity but you can use voice commands to access functions. also as you know from 2010, bluetooth is standard. i believe that's the basic breakdown

Rip the back seats out and get a tune boom light weight more power XD
The base GSR is the lightest your gonna get without removing/replacing things.
Theres not much more mitsu can do to make it lighter it already has a aluminum engine/hood/roof/trunk. What else would you like them to do?

They could go back to building a smaller chassis, same size as previous gen Evo's. Dont get me wrong the X is a great looking car but Really sucks that it gained 300lbs from previous gen Evo's but only gained 5 hp that is just ridiculous. Power to weight ratio needs to remain the same they should have given the Evo X at least 330hp stock. Also why did they downgrade the Turbo, I hear it tapers at high RPM's like crazy now. One of the things I loved most about my Evo VIII's and IX was the fact that they had good top end for a Turbo car stock which is pretty rare. I have never ridden or driven an X yet so I cant really compare but I have read a ton of reviews over the past few years. Whats up with the White guage cluster that is so borning and un sporty. Give us the Amber Guages please and bring back the 6 speed manual transmission for the MR. Another thing I cannot stand is Chrome on the MR, again its not a luxury car Mitsubishi leave the Chrome off please it is hideous. Luckily the GSR doesnt have it. Subaru was dumb enough to put Chrome on the new STi sedan also :-(

Well i think the 2011 is the last of the 4b11 before they make there new hybrid.
If your so worried about weight they make plenty of carbon fiber parts fenders and such.
The car got fatter due to a wider wheel base too. Im pretty sure the X does a better job in the twistys compared to the older evo's. The evo has rally heritage its not made to go fast in a straight line. If you want a light car that goes fast in a straight line build a civic.
