The Manuel gear box is a thing of the past were lucky we have a 5 speed. All of these new high end cars are coming with paddle shift before we know it there will be no Manuel gear box.
For the chrome thing i have no chrome on my GSr besides the door handles which i don't mind if i did get an MR i would black out the chrome around the grill too.

They could go back to building a smaller chassis, same size as previous gen Evo's. Dont get me wrong the X is a great looking car but Really sucks that it gained 300lbs from previous gen Evo's but only gained 5 hp that is just ridiculous. Power to weight ratio needs to remain the same they should have given the Evo X at least 330hp stock. Also why did they downgrade the Turbo, I hear it tapers at high RPM's like crazy now. One of the things I loved most about my Evo VIII's and IX was the fact that they had good top end for a Turbo car stock which is pretty rare. I have never ridden or driven an X yet so I cant really compare but I have read a ton of reviews over the past few years. Whats up with the White guage cluster that is so borning and un sporty. Give us the Amber Guages please and bring back the 6 speed manual transmission for the MR. Another thing I cannot stand is Chrome on the MR, again its not a luxury car Mitsubishi leave the Chrome off please it is hideous. Luckily the GSR doesnt have it. Subaru was dumb enough to put Chrome on the new STi sedan also :-(
oh and also, if you really wanna cut some weight off your car, just hit the gym and lose the pounds yourself :P like somebody mentioned, mitsubishi is already using aluminum parts, the only other option is for them to start busting out the carbon fiber
And Im pretty sure they are. There was an article in road and track.
