A different kind of accident.
it turns out the whole door is kind of misaligned.. along with the bent corner. I can't smoothly open the driver side door.. I am going for an estimate friday.. Hopefully it won't cost too much.
still... most garage floors are perfectly level. I don't "have" to put on the parking brake in my garage (I still do anyways) and my car will stay put... object at rest will stay at rest blah blah blah.
Yikes. I'd get the hand checked out, especially if you can't feel stuff. Hand > Evo door
This is a good (yet painful) lesson for those us who don't always use the e-brake. Once you get used to doing it every time, you don't even think about it.

After I got home and parked my car nicely in my garage, I hopped out and realized my car was sliding. Of course I did not want it to slide out and hit somebody, so I opened my driver side door. It was a wrong move... terribly terribly wrong. My fingers were stuck in between the dry wall and my door, and I couldn't feel a thing. Then I tried my hardest to reach my handbrake and pulled it up. I tried to reach to ignition, and I pulled so hard that the knob came off. I had to yell like a baby to get my wife out and start the car for me. The most painful moment was engaging the clutch, put in first gear (by my wife) and smashed the gas.
I am thankful that only my fingers are slightly injured because of the soft dry wall, which has a huge hole on it with the shape of my fist. Also my arm was an inch away from the garage door frame, otherwise my arm is gone.
